SHOWCASE — Finally sharing the absolutely stunning @therosebowman website + branding designs 😍🧡 It’s so hard to fit the visuals into just a few squares so please check out the real life site www.rosebowman.com to see Rose’s amazing work! — Rose is an destination wedding and elopement photographer based in Atlanta and ready to travel! Her photography style is just beautiful and her values and messaging really give you a great idea of what Rose is all about and who she loves to work with, and what it’s like working with her. We wanted a warm, friendly boho vibe with a professional edge that would be timeless and give a nod to travel and adventure as well. — We used this to give her branding and visual style such a personal touch and weaved in a lot of graphic elements to add a layered look. Each graphic has a special link to Rose and I love that we were able to personalise them in this way, and also utilise a warm and boho colour palette to give them even more life and movement. The logo itself utilises unique typography mixed with little wanderlust touches like compass arrows and dots — The website itself is packed with a tonne of custom features, my favourite being the little back to top arrow as well as the testimonial carousel 😋 — This project was such a blast! 🙌🏻
Day 3 #JMXMAS — My favourite passion project at the end of the year 😋 calendars! I am so happy to share the new large format A3/A2 year wall calendar in black and white 🥳 — I wanted to revamp the design entirely this year to something I hadn’t seen before, and I just love the modern, luxe minimalist look 🧡 just perfect to frame and put up on the wall — These are now available on @etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/nz/listing/744528626/2020-yearly-calendar-a3-a2-2020-calendar?ref=shop_home_active_2 — Do you have a passion project you are working on right now, or a favourite thing to design that isn’t necessarily part of your core services? I’d love to hear! 🥰
HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS — and also I don’t know who needs to hear this, but remember to take a break (me included 🤣) — Don’t feel guilty, don’t think about the things you think you need to be doing, just remember at some point this silly season to take a break and do whatever it is that makes you feel relaxed and recharge a bit. Shut down the computer (for once this year, it needs a break and an update too 😅), turn off those emails, set the standard that you are not a machine and that you deserve an hour, day, a week to yourself and to spend with loved ones, friends and family. You can’t pour from an empty cup and all that 😘 — And just reminder for my own studio holiday hours - I am now out of office until January 13 and will only be checking emails very rarely, and priority will go to to those I’ve already discussed projects with or am in discussion with. Any new projects unfortunately will be discussed when I get back in 2020. I’ll still be active on Insta though most likely as it’s my time to just have fun on the gram and take it into holiday mode 🥳🎄🍾✨
SHOWCASE — It’s also going to be about 12 days of showcases hehe because I’ve had so many amazing projects wrap up and some awesome clients launching just in time for #christmas 😋 — This is the gorgeous @squarespace site for @veronikamoreira_beauty. My jaw dropped when I saw her amazing work and knew we just had to highlight it as much as possible, ensuring imagery took centre stage throughout the design. We also worked with high end and editorial style typography to compliment all the visuals 😍 — @veronikamoreira_beauty was such a pleasure to work with, totally committed to the project and getting me absolutely everything I needed to bring her vision to life on the site. — My favourite part of this site would have to be the stunning homepage image slideshow as well as the fonts used - just so professional! 🥰 — Stay tuned for more showcase features, there are going to be a few hehe!
DAY 2 #JMXMAS — A year in review ☺️ I kept seeing checklists for the year ahead or for the end of year, so I wanted to do something a little bit different with a focus on reflecting on the year that has been 2019 🗓 — I’ve also written a wee blog blog reviewing my year and would so love to hear some of your answers to these prompts. — And for the second day of #Christmas (I’m so out of whack with the days hehe please excuse me), I’ve created my very first @canva templates of the actual graphics in this post if you wanted to share your own 2019 review! 🥳 They can also be used on Ps as well. It’s taken me so long to branch into this particular platform because of the sharing issues, but I think I’ve finally got that covered. You can purchase the templates on @creativemarket, just follow the link in bio! — Hope you are all having a very merry holiday season so far, and remember to reflect on your year and celebrate those wins, and learn from those lows! 🎄🧡
DAY 1 #JMXMAS — New A4 Monthly Calendars now up on the @etsy shop 🥳🗓 This is a digital download so you can print it at home or at a professional printer and display it any what you might like! — Super minimalist and functional this year with plenty of space to write down any dates, jot down any to-dos as well as a page at the start and end for planning the years goals 🧡😋 — Now that I have (mostly) finished up with client work, I’m settling into biz admin, replying to emails and finally getting some resources out. I thought I’d do a bit of a 12 days of #Christmas schedule to keep an eye out for some more exciting free and purchasable resources!
