I've put together some most frequently asked questions, links and guides should you need any further help. Thank you again for the opportunity to team up, I will now be your biggest supporter and happy to answer any questions or queries you have.
Branding/Design Projects
+ Will you store all my files for me?
Your final files will be sent to you via Dropbox and you will need to save them/back them up to your own computer as well as your own Cloud storage service. I do keep copies saved on my end but I am not responsible for storing everything we've ever designed together; that's a lot of files! If you lose access to your files in the future, I'll do my best to help you restore them from my archives but there may be costs involved with doing so.
+ I need my logo without a background, what file type is that?
Search your Brand Folder for any PNG file extension. These files have a transparent/ see-through background.
+ Help - how do I use my other logo files?!
Your designs will likely be saved in multiple different file formats. Here's a quick run down on what's what:
- JPGs and PNGs are for web use.
- The PNGs have a transparent background so that you can put the file somewhere and not see a coloured or white background.
- PDF, EPS and Ai. files are all all vector formata so if you're working with someone in the future and they ask you for a vector version of your file, send them any of these
+ What are my brand guidelines?
If our work included creating a brand guideline for you, we'll include that as a PDF file in your folder. It will include your colour palette codes, font links as well as logo usage best practices. It is basically the manual for using your new branding consistently.
If you work within a team or have others working on your brand, you can share your Brand Guidelines with them to help ensure consistent use of your branding, such as specific colour or font usage, or info on what the primary logo or icon is.

Can I learn how to edit my site for free?
Check out the Squarespace Knowledge Base which houses all the most useful help articles that are also updated on the regular.
+ I've done the training but I still am having trouble editing (but really want to learn), do you provide additional paid training?
Absolutely! Sometimes you might feel a little bit overwhelmed and Squarespace help isn't working for you, when this happens please feel free to email me to book in additional live training sessions. I will ask you what you are getting stuck on and any specifics and then can quote for the live tutorial from there.
+ I'm not very tech savvy and would love to hand over website updates to someone else, do you provide continual website editing services?
This is a toughie! While I am always happy to make site edits as needed, I also work with a lot of larger projects on the go so often do not have a lot of time for continual site edits. I would recommend getting on touch via email to discuss exactly what you need done and how often, and either we can work out an arrangement or I may be able to recommend a virtual assistant who would be better suited to the task.
+ Help! I've deleted something or have made a big mistake on the site, can you fix this for me ASAP?!
One of the reasons why I love Squarespace SO much is because their customer service team are absolutely wonderful and are available 24/7 should need any help in the event I am not able to get back to you ASAP. So my first recommendation is to reach out to Squarespace Support as their team is avaialble 24/7 to help with anything you might need (except for CSS/integration issues).
If they cannnot help, please email me with the issue and I will get back to you as soon as I can with a solution, a quick fix or I can quote for the work if the issue is quote large.
